The carpenter
Akram
Akram started in carpentry at fifteen. Back then he was a laborer — carrying wood, cleaning up the shop, watching the older men work and slowly learning to use his hands.
That was more than thirty years ago. Today he runs his own shop, Al-Salam Carpentry, out of Baqa al-Gharbiyye in the Triangle. In that time he's made just about everything you can make from wood — kitchens, wardrobes, doors, beds, and plenty of one-off pieces people brought him as a rough idea.
What people tell their friends about him is simple: he takes his time and he gets the details right. And he won't call a job finished until you've looked it over in your own home and you're genuinely happy with it — not just being polite.
If you've got something in mind, call him and talk it through.
How it works
From first idea to finished piece
01
We talk
Tell Akram what you need and where it's going. He'll give you his honest take before anything gets built.
02
Measure & plan
He measures the space himself and works out exactly how the piece should be made to fit it.
03
Built by hand
He builds it in the shop from solid wood — the same way he's done it for over thirty years.
04
Fitted in your home
He brings it to you anywhere in Israel and installs it properly, down to the last detail.
Let's build something lasting.
Tell me what you're dreaming of. I'll help you make it real — serving all of Israel.
