A workshop that builds to the drawings and keeps to the schedule
Al-Salam Carpentry in Baqa al-Gharbiyye carries out fine carpentry work as a subcontractor for building companies, renovation contractors, architects, interior designers and developers. We work from architects' drawings and site measurements, build in our own workshop and install anywhere in Israel. The workshop is led by Akram, a master carpenter with more than 30 years of experience, who takes the measurements on site himself and is responsible for the quality of the finish. Schedules are agreed in advance and kept, so the carpentry never holds up the other trades on site.
What we make and install
Kitchens
Kitchens built to the architect's or designer's drawings, for a single apartment or several apartments in one project: base and wall units, tall units, drawers and islands, all fitted to the measurements on site.
Wardrobes and storage
Floor-to-ceiling fitted wardrobes, bedroom furniture and under-stair storage units, all built to the dimensions of the space.
Bathroom vanities
Wall-hung and floor-standing bathroom vanities in white, black and wood tones, made to suit the basin, the plumbing points and the dimensions of the room.
Staircases and railings
Wooden stair treads, landings and handrails, matched to the existing structure and to metal balustrades.
Wall panelling
Timber cladding, media walls and decorative panels for living rooms, lobbies and commercial spaces, following the architect's wall elevations.
Commercial furniture and reception desks
Reception desks, including fluted fronts, workstations, bookcases and storage units for offices and shops.
How we work with you

Drawings and measurement
You send us the drawings or bill of quantities, and Akram comes to the site, takes the measurements himself and checks the conditions on the ground.

Shop drawings and approval
We prepare shop drawings with dimensions, materials and finishes, and start production only after approval from you and the architect.

Production in our workshop
Every item is built in our workshop in Baqa al-Gharbiyye under Akram's supervision and arrives on site ready to install.

Installation and handover
We install on site on the agreed date, adjust the fronts and drawers, and hand over the work for your inspection and approval.
What we need from you
- Architect's drawings or a bill of quantities for the carpentry items
- Site measurements, or access to the site so we can measure ourselves
- Finish selections: material, colour, handles and hardware
- The project schedule and the requested installation date
- A contact person on site to coordinate measurement and installation
Questions contractors and architects ask
Do you work from architects' drawings?
Yes. We work from architects' and interior designers' drawings, complete them with site measurements and prepare shop drawings for approval before production begins.
Do you install anywhere in Israel?
Yes. Production takes place in our workshop in Baqa al-Gharbiyye, and installation is at your site, anywhere in Israel.
How do we get a quote?
Send us a drawing, a bill of quantities or a list of items with dimensions, and we will come back to you with a detailed quote. If there is no drawing yet, a short call is enough to get started.
Do you take on a single apartment as well as a whole project?
Yes. We produce carpentry for a single apartment, for several apartments in one project or for a commercial space, and fit production and installation around the site schedule.
How do we add you to our list of subcontractors?
Send us your company's supplier registration form and we will return it completed with the workshop's details. You are also welcome to arrange a visit to the workshop and see the work up close.
